M.C. Escher
Was at Ohjoy where she mentioned spotting some lovely tiles and patio stones that reminded her of M.C. Escher. I'm a big fan of his art. Here's a sample from his official website.
Clockwise from top left. Scanno, 1956. Ascending and Descending. Waterfall, one of my favourites. And Sky & Water I Woodcut. "M.C. Escher became fascinated by the regular Division of the Plane, when he first visited the Alhambra, a fourteen century Moorish castle in Granada, Spain in 1922." So am I, but i'm terrible with perspective drawing.
